Pirates clinch treble signing
01 Sep 2009 - 17:04:20
Bristol Rovers have signed forward Mark Wright for an undisclosed fee from Brighton & Hove Albion and snapped up Reading goalkeeper Mikkel Andersen on loan.
Wright joins after a matter of a month with the Seagulls, while Andersen joins until the turn of the year.
Goalkeeper Rhys Evans has also earned a one-year deal at the Memorial Stadium.
Director of football Lennie Lawrence told the club's official website: "We have been chasing these transfer targets for some time and are pleased that the deals have now been done.
"We are delighted to sign Mikkel Andersen on loan and very glad to tie Rhys up on a year's contract.
"Mark Wright was one of our main transfer targets in the summer, so it is great news that he is now a Rovers player."
