Bristol Rovers have completed the permanent signing of Hull City defender Danny Coles for an undisclosed fee.
The 26-year-old has spent the last two months on loan at the Memorial Stadium, impressing in his nine appearances for the club and scoring in Sunday's FA Cup third round draw at Fulham.
The former Bristol City player has penned a deal that will keep him with the Pirates until at least June 2010.
Coles moved to Hull City in July 2005 from Ashton Gate for £200,000 after playing almost 200 matches for the Robins.
