Pipe returns to Rovers from Robins

The right-back arrived at the Abbey Business Stadium at the end of November and was a regular in Mark Yates' back four, making eight league appearances in total. But, with finances tight and other options available within their ranks, the Robins have decided not to take up the option of extending his stay for the second half of the season. Chairman Paul Baker told the club's official website: "I would have been nice to keep David for longer but we have to be careful with our spending at the moment and Saturday's postponement did not help."
