Patterson gets Pirates youth role

Bristol Rovers have appointed former Oxford United boss Darren Patterson as their new head of youth.Oxford sacked Patterson in November, after just over a year in charge, with United 16th in the Blue Square Premier. The 39-year-old had been at Oxford as a player and in various coaching roles, including as youth-team coach, for over seven years.
