Igoe fears for future

Sammy Igoe says he would prefer to stay with Bristol Rovers but admits he is facing a summer of uncertainty after returning to Millwall.

The midfielder impressed during his three-month loan spell at the club but has now been forced to return to the New Den with his future shrouded in doubt.

"It's frustrating going into the summer not knowing where you're going to be in August," Igoe told Rovers' official website.

"Whether I have to root up my family and go up north, or what, I just don't know to be honest.

"I would like to stay here (Rovers) to tell the truth. I have enjoyed my stay here and I'm not just saying that, but I have to weigh up my options and think of my family first and foremost.

"Rovers have said they are interested, but we'll have to see.

"The likelihood is I'll be released from Millwall at the end of the season, but anything can happen in football. Managers come and go, it's swings and roundabouts."
