Coles expecting tough test

Bristol Rovers defender Danny Coles is expecting a tough test at Colchester United on Saturday as he prepares to face an aerial bombardment.

The U's, with 6ft 4ins Clive Platt and 6ft 2ins Kayode Odejayi in attack, will pose a direct and physical problem for the Rovers back-line and Coles is packing extra items into his kitbag.

Speaking to Evening Post, he said: "I was with Kayode at Bristol City and you know what sort of a game you are going to get from their two forwards.

"It's going to be a physical one, so I'll be putting my tin hat in my bag ready for it - and packing some paracetamols as well.

"They are very direct, but they are very good at it and they are not going to change something that works for them."
