Campbell remains a Pirate
17 May 2007 - 09:56:15
Bristol Rovers have retained the services of Stuart Campbell after agreeing a new two-year contract with the midfielder.
The former Leicester City and Grimsby Town midfielder has made over 130 appearances for the Pirates since arriving at the Memorial Stadium on a free transfer three years ago.
"I'm delighted to agree a new two-year deal," he told the club's official website.
"There's been a degree of speculation over one or two players but I think I've made my position quite clear all along - and that is that I want to stay at Bristol Rovers.
"I've committed myself to two more years because I really believe this club is going places and I want to be a part of that."
