Campbell issues Rovers call

Bristol Rovers captain Stuart Campbell has urged his side to tighten up in defence to end a poor run of recent form.

The Pirates have failed to win any of their last five league games, although Campbell believes that his side are not far away from gaining more positive results.

He told the Evening Post: "There have been too many times this season when we've come off the pitch thinking we've put in a decent performance, but come away with nothing.

"It just makes us all the more determined to put it right. We have a big game on Saturday and we have to stop the feeling that we've played well but not got a result.

"Teams don't really create many opportunities against us in open play, it's not as though we're being cut open and opponents are getting chance after chance.

"We just need to tidy up on a few things and I'm sure results with follow."
