Bristol Rovers sign up Heffernan

Bristol Rovers have signed Doncaster and former Bristol City striker Paul Heffernan on a month-long loan deal.The 28-year-old Irishman joined Doncaster in 2005 and scored when they beat beat Rovers in the final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy in 2007. "With Chris Lines injured we need another goal threat and I think Paul can add to it," director of football Lennie Lawrence told BBC Radio Bristol.
