Bristol Rovers chief defends club

Bristol Rovers chairman Nick Higgs has defended the club's ambition after the 5-0 loss to Leyton Orient.Rovers have made just one new signing in the transfer window and have spent very little of the £1m they received for striker Rickie Lambert last summer. He told BBC Radio Bristol: "Money's been available all season to strengthen the squad. We have a wage bill higher than it's ever been at the club. "So we can't be criticised for lacking ambition or trying to take us forward." He continue.... read more
