Anthony blow for Pirates
10 Oct 2007 - 11:21:42
Bristol Rovers will be without Byron Anthony for around three months after the defender suffered a broken metatarsal.
Anthony, 23, picked up the injury during Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat by Bournemouth and faces an extended spell on the sidelines.
"The doctors said he'll be out of action for between eight and 12 weeks, but it is possibly on the longer side of that timescale," revealed Pirates boss Paul Trollope.
"The injury is a big blow for us on top of losing the match."
