Williams delight at Wales call

Bristol City midfielder Gavin Williams has said he is "absolutely delighted" with an international recall, three years after his last involvement with Wales.

John Toshack's Welsh team are playing Finland and Germany at the end of this month and Williams is hoping to play a full part in the fixtures after his impressive form for City.

"I'm absolutely delighted with the call up and a little bit surprised as well," Williams told the club's official website.

"It's been a while (since I was last involved) but obviously I hope to add to my two caps to date in the coming weeks."
