Walsh: Johnson upset by City

Bristol City's first-team coach Alan Walsh was left to face the press after the Robins went down to a late 1-0 defeat at Birmingham City.

City manager Gary Johnson left St Andrew's without speaking to the media, with Walsh admitting that his superior was angry at a late lapse by his side.

He told the Evening Post: "I think it's fair to say the manager wasn't very happy.

"It's partly because of the performance and partly because we switched off at a set-piece when we were so close to earning a point.

"If you take a point away from home against anyone in the Championship, you probably deserve it. We were three minutes away and we've been caught out.

"It's frustrating, because it's something we work on all the time in training. It was somebody's job to pick up, it hasn't been done and it's cost us."
