Trio agree new Robins deals

Bristol City have agreed new deals with midfield trio Cole Skuse, Ivan Sproule and Marvin Elliott.

Skuse and Sproule have put pen to paper on new contracts at Ashton Gate, while Elliott will officially sign when he returns to the club for pre-season training.

The agreement with Elliott is a particular boost for Robins boss Gary Johnson as the midfielder has been linked with a move to Premier League-bound Wolves in recent weeks.

"Marvin should sign early next week when he comes back off holiday," Johnson told the club's official website.

"Those three have been a part of what we've done over the last couple of seasons and I'm pleased that they're still at the club."

Meanwhile, Johnson has confirmed that striker Peter Styvar will spend next season on loan at Greek side Skoda Xanthi.
