Sproule returns to Robins fold
The Northern Ireland international was given leave to return home to be with his family after he and his wife's second child was stillborn last month. The 28-year-old played in the reserves' 2-1 defeat to Southampton on Monday night and is expected to play against West Brom at the weekend. Boss Gary Johnson told the Evening Post: "Ivan is back to work and we're pleased to have him back." Johnson will also be happy to see first-team regulars Liam Fontaine, Lee Johnson and Gavin Williams, who scored, complete 90 minutes against Saints.
