Robins reject Skuse rumour

Bristol City boss Gary Johnson has rubbished reports claiming Reading have tabled a bid for highly-rated defender Cole Skuse.

The 21-year-old played a key role in the Robins' promotion-winning season last term in which he made 52 appearances.

But Reading have not approached the Championship-bound club according to Johnson, despite reports to the contrary.

He told the club's official website: "Cole Skuse is our player and, as with any other player, you have to treat that sort of thing as total speculation until you get an approach - and we certainly haven't had an approach."
