Bristol City boss Gary Johnson has handed a trial to the Celtic striker Kjartan Finnbogason.
The young Icelander will link up with the rest of the Robins squad this weekend when they set off for their pre-season tour of Latvia.
"We've watched Kjartan a few times and we like him," Johnson told City's official website.
"There are a few clubs interested in him out in Scandinavia but he's promised me he won't make any decisions until he's had a trial with us.
"I've spoken to him and his representatives. I've been making the right sort of noises, telling him what he's good at and what he's not so good at - in areas I think I can improve him.
"He's only young but could become a top player. At this moment in time he would like to join Bristol City if we make him an offer."
