Robins given points target

Bristol City boss Gary Johnson has set his sights on gaining four more wins in order to banish the threat of relegation.

The Robins boss was delighted to see his side beat fellow strugglers Bournemouth 3-1 on Saturday, as strikes from Steve Brooker, Mark McCammon and a Neil Young own goal secured the spoils.

With 42 points on the board, the boss is now targeting at least 10 more before he can consider City safe from the League One trapdoor.

He said: "Having been pegged back at 1-1, I told the lads they needed to go out and show a bit of character in the second half, as they had been on top.

"They did just that, and in the end it was comfortable. We got a break with the deflection for our second, but no-one could say we didn't deserve it.

"Fifty-two points is usually safety, so we probably need three or four more wins."
