Robins accept McIndoe bid

Bristol City manager Gary Johnson has accepted a bid from an unnamed club for Michael McIndoe.

The 29-year-old former Doncaster Rovers winger has been linked with a transfer to Coventry City this summer, although Johnson is remaining coy about the player's future.

The Robins boss said: "We can't say too much but we've had a bid from a club and it's been accepted. Nothing's done yet but Michael's talking terms with them.

"We should have a goalkeeper in by Monday or Tuesday. We didn't put all our eggs in one basket with Martin (Lejsal) and we've now found one that we didn't think would become available.

"I'm still looking for a target-man, as I've said before, but there's nothing imminent at this time."
