Bristol City have confirmed that caretaker manager Keith Millen will remain in charge at Ashton Gate until the end of the season.

Millen has impressed after taking the top job following Gary Johnson's departure, although Steve Coppell is being hotly tipped to be named as a permanent successor in the summer.

Chairman Steve Lansdown told the club's official website: "Keith will remain in charge for the remainder of the season.

"He has done an excellent job so far and therefore we would like him to see out the season for the club.

"The club continues to work towards an appointment and will make any further announcements when it is appropriate."
