Millen perplexed by recent sackings

Bristol City boss Keith Millen has described the current trend of managerial sackings as "unbelievable".Twelve men have lost their jobs since Christmas Day, including Millen`s good friend Gary Johnson at Peterborough."It`s an unbelievable statistic, 12 managers going since Christmas," Millen told the club`s official website. "A number of the one`s going aren`t doing too bad. There are managers with teams near the play-offs or even in the play-offs being sacked."I was disappointed to see a good friend of mine Gary Johnson depart from Peterborough this week. He had been doing a good job there."It`s a results business and unfortunately when the pressure builds it`s the manager that gets it. However, history shows that if you keep chopping and changing your manager then there is no consistency and often no success."I`m just thankful that our chairman has patience and understands what I am trying to achieve here."
