Millen assures Nyatanga of future
06 Oct 2010 - 14:42:34
Bristol City manager Keith Millen insists Lewin Nyatanga still has a future at the Ashton Gate-based outfit.
The Wales defender is yet to feature this term, but Millen has calmed the rumours that suggest he could be on his way out.
But he has suggested that the 22-year-old could be set for a loan spell in order to increase his match fitness.
"He would have been told by now if he needed to find another club and that's not the case," Millen said. "I see him as competition on the left-hand side of defence.
"He's one that is in our development groups, even though he's played a lot of games, he is still young and learning.
"He needs games to be ready for the first team and if that means playing in the reserves, then so be it. But if something comes up that appealed to him and us then we would look at it."
