McIndoe makes City switch
13 Jul 2007 - 08:17:49
Bristol City have made a surprise swoop to sign Wolves winger Michael McIndoe for an undisclosed fee.
The 27-year-old left-winger has signed a three-year contract at Ashton Gate, where he links up with his former Yeovil Town boss, Gary Johnson.
McIndoe had been with Wolves for less than a year, having started last season with Barnsley.
He started his career with Luton Town, before stints with Hereford United, Yeovil and Doncaster Rovers.
McIndoe told his new club's official website: "Bristol City have shown ambition and I'm back with the manager who I've worked with before.
"After speaking to Gary it didn't take me ten minutes to decide I wanted to come here. It should be an exciting season for everybody.
"Bristol City are an ambitious club who won promotion last year and I'm looking forward to working with the squad."
