Maynard eyes pre-Christmas return

Bristol City striker Nicky Maynard says he is confident he will be back in action in the next few weeks.Maynard, 23, was City's top-scorer last season with 21 goals but has not played since the final game of last season because of a knee injury. "I've always said I'll be back before Christmas and the way things are going I'm way on schedule for that," Maynard told BBC Radio Bristol.
