Lansdown eyes new faces
20 Nov 2006 - 13:53:40
Bristol City chairman Steve Lansdown has confirmed the club will be looking to strengthen their ranks in January and has already drawn up a list of targets 'as long as your arm'.
The Robins are in third position and level on 32 points with second-placed Scunthorpe United following Saturday's 3-1 win against Gillingham at Ashton Gate.
Despite already looking well-placed for a promotion push, Lansdown is determined to do all he can to help boss Gary Johnson bolster his squad in the transfer window and secure Championship football next term.
He told the Bristol Evening Post: "We sat down last week and put together a list of potential transfer targets.
"It was a list as long as your arm and we will work our way through it. But if we don't get anyone in then we will be happy with the squad we've got."
