Johnson targets vital win

Bristol City manager Gary Johnson is confident that his side can build on the easy victory against Cheltenham Town by beating Nottingham Forest in their next League One game.

Victory for the Robins against Colin Calderwood's side would lift them seven points clear of their closest rivals for an automatic promotion spot, and Johnson is in an upbeat mood going into the game.

"The Forest game is a great opportunity," he said. "It'll be a sell-out crowd and it's a game worthy of the Championship.

"I'm pleased we're at home in front of our fans and a win for us will take us a long way to getting us where we want to be.

"Our target of 83 points would probably do it until the end of the season because we want to get promotion as early as we can."
