Bristol City manager Gary Johnson believes that seven wins from their last 12 games will see the Robins win automatic promotion to the Premier League.
Johnson's side have amassed 61 points from 34 games so far this term, securing another crucial win with a 2-1 success at Colchester United at the weekend.
He told the Evening Post: "I did the maths last week and posted a notice on the dressing room wall setting the lads a target of eight wins from the final 13 games.
"It feels good to have the first of those wins in the bag and I reckon we now need another seven to see us over the finish line. The ratio is getting better all the time.
"It's nice to be second, because that means our fate is in our own hands with 12 games to go. Every win we pick up now is one less we need later in the season."
