Bristol City manager Gary Johnson has challenged his side to put their Johnstone's Paint Trophy disappointment behind them and win promotion to the Championship.
The Robins failed to secure a place in the Millennium Stadium showpiece after being knocked out in the Southern Area final by cross-city rivals Bristol Rovers on Tuesday evening.
But despite the 1-0 aggregate defeat at the Memorial Stadium, Johnson has rallied his troops with the thought of winning promotion from League One.
He said: "The players may not think it at the moment but we still have a huge prize to play for in the shape of promotion and if we get that then this will be long forgotten.
"The lads are very down but I still have faith in them and now they have got a lot of very hard work to push to get into the top two and get into the Championship.
"Over the two games we didn't show our quality, we didn't create enough chances and we can't take anything positive from them.
"We are bitterly disappointed but we will learn from it and move on."
