Johnson predicts late drama

Bristol City boss Gary Johnson expects the race for automatic promotion to the Premier League to go right to the wire.

The Robins slipped out of the top two after being held to a goalless draw by Wolves on Saturday.

But afterwards Johnson urged City supporters to remain positive as the season builds to a dramatic finale.

"People might be disappointed we didn't get a win, but we've got three games to go and any team that gets promoted has to do it right to the end," he told the club's official website.

"We've got to keep our chins up and believe we have a great opportunity. We'll try and get that play-off position first and then kick on from there.

"At the end of the day we always had to beat Stoke next week and there's no difference today.

"It was always going to go down the last three games and we've got a chance to go there and get a result."
