Johnson faces keeper woes

Bristol City boss Gary Johnson has problems ahead of the new season, with all three senior Robins goalkeepers currently injured.

Adriano Basso (thigh), Dean Gerken (groin) and Stephen Henderson (foot) are all struggling, with former Swindon Town gloveman Petr Brezovan drafted in for the friendly with Ajax.

Johnson told the Evening Post: "The situation we are in with our keepers is a concern and we are having to monitor it carefully.

"The season is nearly upon us and all three of our keepers have injuries.

"Let's say Brezovan has helped us out and we've done him a favour at the same time, but I won't be saying any more on that until I've spoken to him."
