Johnson content to be top

Bristol City boss Gary Johnson was reasonably content with a point, after his side were held to a goalless draw at home to promotion rivals Watford.

Adriano Basso's penalty save ensured that the Robins earned a point at Ashton Gate and retained their place at the top of the Championship table.

Johnson said: "We kept our position at the top of the league and other than with Stoke, there have been some very good results for us with the teams that are up there trying to catch us.

"If we can make it a three or four-horse race in the last seven or eight games then that is great.

"It was a good game, although it petered out a little bit when both teams realised that it was important not to get beat and there weren't that many chances.

"Of course Adriano Basso made a fantastic save from the penalty and that's what he has been doing all season."
