Bristol City boss Gary Johnson felt that striker Steve Brooker had shown up well in the 2-2 draw with Bournemouth, as he made his first start in a month for the Robins.
Brooker has only netted one goal this term and failed to find the target against the Cherries.
However, Johnson told the Evening Post: "Steve wasn't quite at his sharpest, but he was solid and he was strong.
"I think when Steve has had two or three games then he will be able to put away opportunities like the half-chances he had.
"We have got to give him games and against Bournemouth we had to play him anyway. He won his headers and did his job."
