Bristol City will be without Phil Jevons for at least two weeks after the striker damaged ankle ligaments in the midweek FA Cup win over Coventry City.

The 13-goal marksman is expected to miss this Saturday's clash with fellow high-fliers Oldham Athletic, the FA Trophy visit of Brighton and also the FA Cup fourth round meeting with Middlesbrough later this month.

"Jevo has torn ankle ligaments and will be out for about two weeks," City boss Gary Johnson told the club's official website.

"He's a quick healer though and hopefully could be back sooner."
