Bristol City have reportedly offered Bolton Wanderers defender Nicky Hunt the chance to move to Ashton Gate. The 26-year-old is available on a free transfer, as the Trotters are keen to release him from the final year of his contract. Robins boss Steve Coppell is believed to want up to six new players to supplement a wafer-thin squad. Ipswich Town have accepted a £225,000 offer from the Robins for the former Huddersfield Town and Blackburn Rovers striker Jon Stead while Bradley Orr is on the verge of joining Queens Park Rangers and Paul Hartley is keen to move to Aberdeen.
