Bristol City defender Liam Fontaine is unlikely to play again until the end of the month.
Fontaine, who was injured in the recent game at Derby County, is expected to miss the matches against Peterborough United, Plymouth Argyle, Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday.
City manager Gary Johnson said: "Liam's injury is worse than we feared.
"He went for the scan on Monday and it showed up ligament damage. He will be out for a minimum of three weeks and maybe longer."
