Bristol City have completed the signing of Wales midfielder Gavin Williams for an undisclosed fee on a two-year contract from Ipswich Town.
The 28-year-old scored three times in 59 appearances in almost three years at Portman Road, having previously enjoyed spells with West Ham United, Yeovil Town and Hereford United.
Town boss Jim Magilton told his club's official website: "Gavin is a top player on his day but we didn't see enough of those days.
"Gary Johnson knows him well and if Gavin gets a run in the team, then maybe Bristol City will get the best out of him.
"Injuries were certainly a problem for him at Ipswich, but he's a lively character and we all wish him well."
