Bristol City manager Gary Johnson has refused to give up hope of completing the signing of Hearts striker Michal Pospisil before the transfer window closes.
The Robins boss is keen to add to his forward options as he aims to guide City to promotion to the Championship and believes the 27-year-old Czech star would be a useful acquisition.
"We're still in talks and there are still two days left before the transfer window closes," Johnson told City's official website.
"He's a player with Championship quality, a superb finisher and an experienced lad. We've spoken to Hearts and that's all okay.
"We've been speaking to Michal and now we have to convince him that Bristol City is the place for him.
"He's got some personal decisions to make. He's still got 18 months left on his Hearts contract and may decide to stay there."
Pospisil has scored ten goals in 45 appearances for the Jambos since moving to Tynecastle from Slovan Liberec 18 months ago.
