Adebola's City future uncertain

The veteran striker, out of contract at the end of the season, won the award at the club's annual ceremony on Thursday night. The Robins have offered him a one-year deal to stay at Ashton Gate, but the 33-year-old is seeking the security of a two-year deal, which he is believed to have been approached with by another Championship club. He told the Bristol Evening Post: "I'm still talking to the manager and the chairman about staying on at Bristol City, but if it comes to an end I can safely say that this is a great club with a great set of lads and great support. "I'm amazed that I've been picked for this award. "Ever since I've been at Bristol City I've been made to feel really welcome and this award shows how much people appreciate what I do, and I appreciate their support in return."
