Williams back in favour at Rovers

The former Hereford frontman looked set to leave the Memorial Stadium after struggling to make an impact since joining the club two years ago. But Williams has caught the eye in several cameo appearances from the bench in the Pirates' fine start to the season and will now remain with the League One side. Meanwhile, Rovers chairman Nick Higgs has revealed that midfielder David Pipe has been suspended by the club while they carry out investigations after he was arrested on suspicion of assault last week.
