We must bounce back - Trollope

Under-pressure Bristol Rovers boss Paul Trollope has challenged his team to bounce back from their dismal start to the season by claiming a home victory against Yeovil this weekend. Rovers were beaten 3-0 by Peterborough on the opening day of the season and then suffered a 6-1 thumping at the hands of League Two Oxford in the first round of the Carling Cup. Trollope is aware things must improve quickly and feels it is vital the Pirates pick up three points in their first home game of the season. He told the club's official website: "Everyone has been disappointed by the two results we have had and a lot of unacceptable stuff was evident on Tuesday night which we need to address. "The support we had on the night (against Oxford) was fantastic considering the circumstances and we owe it to everyone to bounce back. I want to see a reaction and a fight about the team. "We have got a desire and determination to put things right and get back to winning ways on our home patch. A good home performance and a good home win will be what is required and we want to make sure the fans have something to shout about and something to support."
