Victory without style for Trollope

Jeff Hughes netted the winning goal on the half hour, drilling home a left-footed shot after a dreadful pass across his own box by County full-back Adam Griffin had set up the chance.[LNB]Stockport midfielder David Poole was sent off for a second bookable offence in injury time and although the Hatters worked hard throughout, they lacked the quality to ease their relegation fears.[LNB]Trollope said: "This was certainly victory without style. Sometimes when you don't play well you have to do the right things to ensure a clean sheet.[LNB]"We at least did that, although we didn't pass the ball or move to anything like the standards we set ourselves.[LNB]"The result puts us 10 points off the play-off position and if we can get a run going we could still be involved when it matters. But we will certainly have to play a lot better at Swindon on Saturday if we are to make it three wins in succession."[LNB][LNB]
