Trollope's boys grow in stature

Bristol Rovers manager Paul Trollope praised his side's spirit after Will Hoskins' last-gasp stunner clinched a 1-0 win at Huddersfield. Rovers winger Hoskins struck a rising drive into the top corner in the final seconds of stoppage time and there was barely enough time for Huddersfield, who had Jamie McCombe sent off for picking up two yellow cards, to kick-off again. Trollope said: "It was a pleasing win. We knew it would be a stiff examination against one of the best sides in the division. "We now have a real good spirit and togetherness and when Huddersfield piled on the pressure in the second half we defended well. In the last 10 minutes we seemed to hold the ball up more and looked devastating on the counter-attack." Trollope admitted his side rode their luck at times, but added: "This result will give the players more belief and that's all we've been lacking. "Will Hoskins produced a brilliant bit of quality to win it at the end. There are 10 games gone and as I have said before we're still a work in progress and just need to be more consistent."
