Trollope targets another goalkeeper

After Fraser Forster opted to turn down a return to the Memorial Ground in favour of a move to Norwich, Trollope was left with Rhys Evans as his only option. Evans was due to leave the club before Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint clash with Hereford, but Trollope has arranged for his stay to be extended while also chasing another shot-stopper. "Rhys came to us on trial initially and impressed us," he told his club's official website. "We feel he can be with the group for the foreseeable future. "He's a steady and reliable keeper and we would like him in the building. Whatever happens with anyone else we bring in, we would like him as the constant influence. "Ideally we would like two keepers in the squad and we are hoping to secure another before the deadline and possibly make other additions to the squad."
