Bristol Rovers manager Paul Trollope revealed he was proud of his players after they suffered a first defeat in four league matches by losing 3-1 at Plymouth. Will Hoskins levelled the scores at 1-1 midway through the second half but a late Bradley Wright-Phillips brace condemned Rovers to defeat. Trollope said: "I was really pleased with the way we came straight back after conceding and I thought the momentum was with us then and that we might go on to get the winner. "It was a fantastic game. I'm very proud of the players because we came with an attacking mentality, we came here to be positive and we were. "We were a little bit open, but we grew into the first half and created quite a few good chances ourselves and that trend continued into the second period. "The second goal we are not pleased with from a defensive point of view. We had the game in the palm of our hand and were looking likely to score every time we went up there, but we got a little bit exposed so that is disappointing because we felt we deserved something out of the game."
