Trollope gives honest assessment

The Grecians twice hit the woodwork in Tuesday's League One clash at the Memorial Stadium before going behind to Darryl Duffy's first-half tap-in, and for all their good build-up play the visitors could not conjure up an equaliser.[LNB]An honest Trollope said: "We weren't ourselves and I was disappointed by a lot of our play. But the great thing was a clean sheet after all the goals we have been conceding recently and we had to defend our box particularly well because Exeter had so much of the ball.[LNB]"I've spoken after games many times about us playing well when we have lost. This time I have to admit Exeter were the better side and they will be very disappointed to go home with nothing.[LNB]"Apart from the clean sheet and the result, the three points have taken us in to the play-off zone and we will only get better from that performance.[LNB]"I was pleased that Darryl Duffy got his first goal of the season, but the most pleasing aspect was certainly our defending as it's something we've worked very hard at on the training ground."[LNB][LNB]
