Trollope blames referee for defeat

Trollope felt his side should have been awarded a 12th-minute penalty when Rickie Lambert's header was blocked by the arm of defender Chris Westwood.[LNB]And he was also incensed by a long hold up in play early in the second-half after what he considered a bad tackle by Tom Williams on David Pipe.[LNB]"We had a head of steam up at the time and the stoppage was just what Peterborough needed because it destroyed our tempo" said Trollope.[LNB]"The referee made a meal of the incident, yet ended up not even issuing a card. With the penalty appeal we felt a linesman must have seen the handball and should have helped the ref.[LNB]"But we are not blaming the officials for our defeat. We lacked a bit of composure going forward and didn't test their keeper enough. There was some tension in our play which has not been evident during our good away performances recently and we were guilty of some poor decisions."[LNB][LNB]
