Top-six will be tough - Trollope

Dennis Lawrence put the Alex ahead after 70 minutes but Daryl Duffy replied four minutes later as the visitors claimed a point.

"It took a long time for us to get some pressure on them and they were a tough team to play against," said Trollope. "You could see why they have been getting results of late. They have pace and strength and are well organised.

"We were disappointed with the goal we conceded but we showed a strong mentality to bounce back into the game and turn the tide.

"The keeper made an exceptional save to keep out Jo Kuffour at the end and I think if the game had gone on five or 10 minutes more I think we would have won.

"There's 10 points now between us and the play-offs which isn't insurmountable but it's a big ask."
