Chesham were the most notable giant-killers in the FA Cup first round on Sunday as the seventh-tier outfit pulled off a shock 1-0 victory at League Two Bristol Rovers.
The visitors passed up the opportunity to open the scoring in the 29th minute as Dave Pearce's penalty was saved by Lee Nicholls, but Ryan Blake then struck in the 77th minute to secure a famous win.
Meanwhile, it was an historic afternoon for sixth-tier Whitehawk as they reached the second round for the first time with a thrilling 5-3 home triumph against National League side Lincoln.
The hosts went 2-0 up through Danny Mills and Jake Robinson, before Matt Rhead's penalty reduced the deficit.
Sam Deering and Rhead exchanged efforts to leave the score at 3-2, and Dave Martin extended the lead with a few minutes to go.
An eventful finale then saw Lincoln's Rhead complete his hat-trick before Deering netted from the spot having been fouled by Alan Power, who was sent off.
Whitehawk's National League South colleagues Maidenhead snatched a 1-1 draw at League One Port Vale thanks to James Mulley's stoppage-time goal.
National League North side Brackley also held higher-division opposition to a draw courtesy of an equaliser at the death, Curtis McDonald's header ensuring their home clash against League Two Newport ended 2-2 - a game they had been losing 2-0.
National League duo Aldershot and Braintree will face replays as well after drawing at home 0-0 against League One Bradford and 1-1 with League Two's Oxford - who played the last 20 minutes with 10 men following Johnny Mullins' red card - respectively.
There was no upset at eighth-tier Didcot as the lowest ranked team left in the competition were beaten 1-0 at home by Exeter of League Two.
Another League Two side, Yeovil, won 1-0 despite having two men sent off at Maidstone, whose fellow sixth-tier club Gainsborough lost by the same score at home against League One Shrewsbury.
Meanwhile, National League strugglers FC Halifax were thrashed 4-0 at home by League Two's Wycombe.
