Rovers v Saddlers clash rearranged

The Saddlers did not play at all over the festive period due to the wintry conditions and sub-zero temperatures - with their last game being a 2-2 draw against Leyton Orient way back on December 19.[LNB]The decision to rearrange the trip to the Memorial Stadium for Tuesday February 9, kick-off 7.45pm, means Walsall will come face-to-face with the south-west outfit twice in the space of four days with the clash at the Banks's Stadium due to take place on February 6.[LNB]Chris Hutchings' side are still awaiting a new date for their trip to Leeds - due to take place on January 23 - as a result of United's progress in the FA Cup.[LNB]But as it stands, with more snow and freezing conditions currently sweeping the country, Walsall now face a fixture pile-up and the unenviable task of a match almost every four days - 12 games in 50 days.[LNB]The Midlands outfit have seen the gap between themselves and the play-off places extended from three points to seven due to their inactivity.[LNB][LNB]
