Rovers star set to sign new deal

The 24-year-old, whose current deal expires at the end of the season, has been linked with a move away from the club in the January transfer window with Leicester, Watford and Cardiff among a host of clubs believed to be chasing his signature.[LNB]Lines, who has featured in 22 games this season, scoring five goals, has made it clear that he wishes to extend his stay should the Pirates come up with an acceptable offer.[LNB]He told the Bristol Evening Post: "Hopefully, things can be agreed this week. My agent is going in to see the club in the next couple of days and with any luck things will be sorted from there.[LNB]"I'm not really sure what length of contract is being talked about and I'll have to wait until my agent comes back to me to find out what is being talked about."[LNB]He added: "I love playing for this club so providing we can agree things, there's no reason I wouldn't want to stay."[LNB][LNB]
